A Sawsall? Do you recommend putting the little beast's head in a vice?

OK people. Call your vet tomorrow and order 10 feet of saw wire. That will last you ten years or so.

Take a 2 foot length of saw wire and tie the ends on to the $25 stainless steel handles, or 2 old 1/2 inch bolts. Trap the offender against a panel with your knee [even if you have someone helping you since this gives you leverage] Entrap the opposite horns in the panel and wrap the saw wire 2/3 the way around the horn that you need to cut.Try to position the head of the sheep so that you will be wedging the head tightly against the panel and you will be pulling perpendicular through the horn. Cut behind the injury so that the horn will grow away from the head more. Firmly pull back and forth on the ends of the wire. The saw wire will burn through the horn. I have never had any trouble using this method.
