We don't dock or disbud either. My phrasing is that I don't
modify the animals for my own connivance, although I will do things for
their health and to keep the population under control. So I spay, neuter
(indoor pets), sheer, castrate, trim hooves, and don't keep roosters. We
don't declaw, clip ears or tails on any animals, don't trim beaks, etc. I
like the way the tails look, and I like the horns on the goats (and of
course the Jacobs) - as well as finding them very useful as handles when I
need to move a goat.

Okay, you're possibly more extreme than I am -- we grow
organically, but I do use pharmaceuticals. :-) I'm very radical on some
things (typed as I sit nursing my 19 month old home birthed daughter no
less), a little less so on others.
