Jobs like this can be done much easier with a gambrel to hold the sheep.  For 
any chores where you have to work closely with your sheep, even one person 
can manage if you put the gambrel on first.  For anyone who is not familiar 
with them, gambrels are molded plastic rods, roughly "W" shaped, that go 
around the back of the neck with a  front hoof tucked in each side of the W.  
Livestock supply catalogs seel them for less than $10, and its a great tool 
to have in the barn!  Robin Casasanto
