[Jacob-list] Primitive Traits

I think we have had some really good descriptions of what could be considered primitive traits: udder close to body, track narrowly, easy lambing, slender legs, presence or alertness, shedding of belly or neck wool, standing on rear legs to browse, good mothers, deer-like conformation, and sloping croup. I would like to add "triangular shaped head" to the list.
A couple of the descriptions did not seem to fit: asymmetrical or fused horns and typically very light or very dark do not conjure up a mental picture of primitive to me.
