I have several (8) ewes who are 8, 9, and 10 years old.  All of them
continue to give me twins every year.  I do keep an extra sharp eye on
them.  It seems that when they get 8 and above that once they start
losing weight, it is very quick.  These ewes get separated out at around
2 months pregnant.  They get fed twice a day instead of once and they
get fed 1/4 to 1/2 again as much as everybody else.  Teeth need to be
checked frequently (once a month is ideal).  I had one ewe who had to
have all but 2 bottom front teeth pulled.  She went from an awful
condition score to a 3 in a very short period of time.  I did give her
banamine for three days after the dentistry.
