[Jacob-list] Spring?

Neal--can I move into your back yard? It is supposed to be 18* here tonite (thankfully readjusted upward from an earlier estimate of 10*) , and the only flowering thing around is the bloomin' idiot who has to traipse out to the barn in the snow to feed sheep and milk goats. Every winter I remember how much easier it was to stay warm when I lived in an apartment. I am looking for an apartment building that takes sheep, goats, donkeys, and assorted poultry. Of course, then I get out to the barn and one of the sheep comes up asking for a chin rub or an ear scratch, and the goats holler to greet me, and I get warm all over again. Happy Holidays to all! (Neal--have a nice Easter--with your weather you couldn't be having Christmas!)

OK, We have our first grape hyacinth and our first flowering quince in bloom so this is actually the first day of spring, even though the mums are still blooming. The seasons are officially messed up.<
