If you have a chance to see the BBC world news program tonight you will have
a chance to see Chatsworth; the Main Hall, Village, Farm Store and a fogged
in farmer. The gist of the story is the "quarantine" of the area even though
no FMD has been reported closer than 28 miles...and the absence of any
visitor traffic to Chatsworth. Chatsworth is a major tourist attraction.
The farmers are happy nobody is coming and going.
Chatsworth had "Spanish sheep" from about 1809 but it is unclear if these
were "Spanish sheep with four horns". It seems that by the 1850s they had
"spanish sheep with four horns".
Recently Chatsworth has a flock of about 60-100 Jacobs. If you have a chance
to see the segment on the BBC it is a worthwhile 5 minute segement.
