[AGL] Ted Cruz and Steve Adler

Hi all. We were lucky to have power here in Austin thru this catastrophic
freeze. I think it was due to our location near a hospital. We had water
although must boil as others now. I’m not looking forward to grocery
shopping so we will do just fine for now on a diet of rice and beans.

I checked on Lorelei and she is fine, has plenty of food. I haven’t heard
from anyone else. Hope all our survivors are good.

Tomorrow traveling to my little Houston house to check for broken pipes.
Fortunately early in the week I asked neighbor to turn off water supply to
house. We will see.

Politically all I would say is that we have gone so far away from public to
privatized services that work only for a profit, and as a result, we are
seeing public Heath and safety as no longer a priority. Sorry for the
faulty sentence structure here. Later, Connie
