I read Jan's "Sins of the Younger Sons." It wasn't an easy read but the
more I got into it the more I appreciated it. I read many of his earlier
books, too. Yes, he is a fine writer even if he should have known, "Never
bring fists to a gun fight."
I really enjoyed his great bio of Dorothy in the obituary. I was unaware of
many of her professional accomplishments in both teaching and government.
As an opponent of the death penalty she would have loved "Just Mercy."
