[AGL] trying to figure it all out

I know that many/most subscribers to AGL use Facebook to stay in touch. 
Recently I've gotten interested in social media to see how it has 
changed our life. I feel like I have a general understanding of how 
Facebook is utilitzed by subscribers to it, to continue online already 
existing friendships. But I don't yet understand yet the function of 
social media other than Facebook like Twitter, Instagram and other 
platforms.
