Harvey ate dinner at our house many times. He spent a year or so at a POW
in the same barracks as my dad. They were both shot down over Schwinefurt
in a AAF disaster.
I knew him pretty well as a family friend. He never arrested me just went
tut tut don't do that. Better yet don't get caught. Bert Gerding was our
scout master.
