I was about to tell you to google it. I had a similar problem. I am making
a talk about food education for the community college and I wondered if
there was any problem with military recruitment due to overweight issues.
Well, the recruiter at the US Army recruitment office in San Antonio told
me he had no idea how many recruits were turned away. He suggested that I
google it. What do you know, Google sent me to a story on the subject. A
whopping 71% of those who apply to serve in the military are turned away!
Best,
Frances
