Hi, I must agree with Mike. Scholz´s is not a place to have a memorial. I visited Austin Sept this year and found it much too loud,
I could hear my self speak, not the Beer garden I was used to. There must be better places.

Even in the garden an enormous TV screen is positioned so that all the folks in orange t-shirts can watch and cheer LOUDLY and drink. I finally found the memorial - it was in the annex where long ago the kitchen was located. Eddie Wilson on taking the helm immediately turned the kitchen space into customer space. Their kitchen in days of yore mustard been quite an operation. The swinging doors for the waitresses are still in place. The place was packed. Bill Smith was the M.C.
