[AGL] memorial for Terry DuBose today - 2pm at the Sholtz Garten

Hans,

Your memory is holding up remarkably well. Terry's house was on W 31st 
next door to
Donna Endres' house. I remember his going away party - the year eludes 
me - when he
and Lucy moved to Little Rock where he taught sonography at the U of 
Arkansas
eventually returning to Austin. He continued to teach sonography and 
supervise research
via the Internet. I remember Cliff Endres wandering over from next door 
- he was on the
point of expatriating to Turkey to teach English literature there. When 
Terry was married
to Kathy and renting one of Bud Shrake's rent houses in West Campus, 
they threw a party
every Friday for a long long time in the era when Fletcher Boone was the 
saloon keeper
of the original Raw Deal on Sabine. After their divorce Terry did say to 
me that he had been
partied out. Billy Lee Bramer was living on the second floor of that house.
