*Like I always say. I went to Whole Foods once in Austin 12 years ago the
clerk complained about my money being covered with germs. And I went there
twice in Denver because a daughter sent me to get something or the other
and it was in walking distance. I would rather shop at Fiesta. Out here in
Deer Corn it is the Lowes in Rock Springs, Bracketville or the HEB in
Uvalde. All are over fifty miles one way. There is a Get n Go in Camp Wood
with really high prices.*
*Been to Book People once. I do all my book shopping on Amazon or Goodwill,
there is a great Goodwill book store in Austin out near Bee Caves. Zillions
of books you didn't know you needed. Half Price is too pricey for me. I
like the 98 cent books. Found quite a few real treasures like all the
graphic novels from the past. A Harold Head collection and the Stephen King
series and three Rick O'Shay hard backs. *
