have you driven down the new mopac cement canyon recently? scary and ugly .narrow  lanes, no shoulder , no escape. hateful. they want to do that all the way to slaughter lane and then hook up to an extension of 45, to IH35 so I 35 traffic can be diverted to mopac. horrifying. and the whole plan has already been presented to wall street with promise of completion by 2025 . Will totally mess up Austin high, Cesar chavez, barton springs the Nature center , the botanical gardens, Lady Bird wildflower Center... and the toll from Cesar Chavez to slaughter is proposed to be $14 one way with no cap.and will make travel for the non toll paying peons even worse.   tx dot officials are appointed, not elected.....
