Yes, it was a National Geographics documentary about Egypt
which I was watching on the TV at Peggy Underwood's rented house in
real Clarksville where the black church is. This mustard been
the late 70s.
There were 6 camels, 2 abreast in 3 rows, hobbled down on
their knees on an flat bed fenced trailer. The video camera
was looking down on a black-topped 2 lane highway. The
trailertruck was visible only for several seconds as they
were going fast. and i realized that there were still camel
caravans going thru the desert and these camels were
being brought by truck to the starting point of a real
commmercial camel caravan.
so i rushed off and told my good buddy Frances about this
eye popping visual experience as soon as i could.
