[AGL] for the record

I’m not sure I don’t need to reenter for AGL (Someone send info if so?) Anyway, I was in biology when the news came over the pa and we were excused for the day.
My mother had worked for every Gov since Shivers. Her office was then behind the Capitol in Gov’s bookkeeping. I was stunned-couldn’t talk. Just thought they might know more, so walked over from SFA & waited with a radio like everyone else. Nobody knew any more until a call finally came in. I don’t remember who it was, but I was sick. Mother gave me the car keys and I cried all the way home and for days after. It was my first campaign. I was so young and hopeful. michele
