[AGL] taking pictures

Gary Winogrand said he took photos so he could see what a
photo of that thing looked like

i have been borrowing the lady's purse camera of my roommate,
which is wrong. so i bought the same one for myself on Ebay.

i cant wait to walk around with it in my pants pocket, it's that
small.

this temporary afflatus is inspired by a huge book of photos
out of the library by Lee Friendlander.

the book has an essay by the printer who has worked on many
books of his photos. but no details on what cameras he uses.
in this book, most of the pics are square format, so for those
he used his Hasselblad. just a few are 35mm format, proportioned
1.5 to 1.

nothing in the book about him using digital cameras.
