[AGL] the eyes are windows to the soul

The white guy in the middle is barking mad. He is not looking at the
photographer and doesnt seem to fully recognize what he is seeing.
He is seeing his alternative world with the so-called thousand yard
stare. He may have noticed that there is some kind of machine
pointed at him or maybe not. No way of telling. No presentation of
self.

The hispanic gent on the left is seeing the world more or less as
it really is plus presenting himself as one hard guy. Ditto the black 
man on the
right. It would be a waste of time to beg for mercy from the guy on the
left. But perhaps otherwise from the black man. His head is tilted back
and to one side signifying his coolness and his psychic distance from
the picture taker He alone is not a murderer. Presumably he thinks in 
English.
Senor Miranda, even if American born, thinks in Spanish from having
grown up in a Spanish speaking household. Freddy may have some
sense of commonality with an American thus more prepared to be
merciful. He gets along well with children.

Their tattoos would be telling. Perhaps tattoos are also windows to the
soul. The madman doesn't have tattoos.
