A fifty year high school reunion is rather remarkable, one would think. No one on the "other list" had any comment whatsoever. I do have a lot of lifelong friends, even among the younger generation, who thought it was terrific and enthused over my photographs from it. 
Don't feel obliged--living in the slow lane has its own charm--I know I am already assured of your friendship.
