checked out Poke art show at fotofest
exhibition featuring six technologically savvy artists who explore online social media and its evolving relationship with the public, the media, and art.
my favs:
someone, can't remember the artist name, designed a software that scans twitter and pulls random messages that use the word 'me'. you can experience it thru link. gives you a good idea of what twitter is all about. It is real time, click on the message to move along to the next.

if you are into banality (i mean) twitter, there is another web site he established for twitter follow instructions to color your 'tweets'

-----don't know, but the old fashioned email message is still my favorite social networking tool!
Saw also a wonderful collection of Google Street View images, blown-up and printed on paper about 20 x 20. This artist evidently spent a lot of time perusing the whole world via Google Earth for interesting shots captured by the roving Google-eyed vehicle a couple years ago. I've been wanting to do that myself. He found many nudes and various questionable activites of persons on the street. Really very fascinating, and I guess a little voyeuristic. Last name was Rafman, maybe he's on internet.
There's more in this lively digital art display, but not easy to describe. Enjoyable and unique art show.
The 2010 Fotofest Biennial Exhibition is March 12 through April 25. The topic this year is simply
