[AGL] There really is a new sheriff in town

Harris County went blue, voted Adrian Garcia to HC Sheriff.
We replaced 20 of the 22 Republican judges with Dems.
For DA, the Greek lady (Lykos) has a slight lead over the Dem black guy, but I almost voted for her.  She is not one of the 'good 'ol boys'.

We lost Nick Lampson to a Tom Delay clone, and did not upset Culberson - so sad.

County Judge went to Republican Ed Emmett (interim judge), but he had an advantage with his high profile role as a keel during Hurricane Ike.  The Dem was not my favorite (old deal maker), but I voted for him.

National Harris County blue rounded off results:
51% for Obama
48% for McCain

51% Noriega
47% Cornyn
