it looks more and more likely that Obama will not win.
its the usual Democratic Party's death wish: Gore, Kerry,
Dukakis.

I might point out that I doubt seriously that Clinton could
have/would have won. so where does that leave us?

i dont see how it helps us (=Democrats) if Clinton
supporters make a fuss at the convention (whether
or not encouraged by Clinton herself).

worse: Obama apparent vp choices are a bunch of 
second raters. maybe he should choose Clinton. what
do you think of that likelihood? to think i was for John
Edwards (as a populist) and it turns out he is an idiot.

roger baker on the mds list supplied a link to a real
intelligent commentator named Spengler who has
good arguments on many subjects. he pointed out
that Russia has very smart politicians, America has
dullards and the reason there are no stupid Russian
politicians is because they are all dead.
