After having grown up in Texas, spent 4 years in Miami and the last 15 in
New Mexico, and having heard all kinds of Spanish accents, I could not
understand a word that handsome fellow said. I thought Campbell Brown was
quite shrill...but her hair was pretty. 2050? Who cares about 2050?
Wondering if I will see 2010...
Fashion note: Hillary wore orange at a big appearance (obvious nod to UT)
but it was the wrong shade, more like Syracuse orange...
She has a knack of saying something that is effective and then following it
with a political cliché that trivializes her previous point, cannot control
her politico instincts. He, on the other hand, does not come across as
another politician cut from the same mold as all the others, and thus
creates attention to what he has to say. But I wonder about his ties to ADM,
supermarket of the world, a rogue corporation with immense influence, an
Illinois company. Anyone know if there is a connection?
All in all, the race in Texas and all the exposure it is receiving
constantly reminds me of all the reasons I left that state.
