Mike,
No, I don't have a photo of the gate. Yes, the estates for a short time were
kind of a hippy heaven. But all that changed drastically when the land
became valuable and near enough the city limits for builders to speculate.
Paula Sarnoff was one of the first real estate agents to capitalize on the
area. When I was hanging out there for a time in the late '90's it was just
another expensive suburb and most of the hippy pads were either modernized
and brought up nearer code or destroyed to make way for new construction.
