Houston's own mega-oil-millionaire is on trial.
81-year-old Oscar Wyatt, (Coastal Corp, now El Paso
Corp) could spend the rest of his life behind bars -

Traitors... dealing with Saddam to make money.

-accused of acceding to the Iraqi demands that buyers
of its crude pay illegal charges 10-50 cents per
barrel (violation of UN rules...and U.S. law)

-accused of conspiring to persuade UN officials to set
the official selling price for Iraqi oil at an
artificially low level, allegedly so he could pay the
surcharges and still make a porofit.

-charged with supplying equipment (gps-type, and other
high tech) to Saddam's government.
