[AGL] R.I.P Vera

[Kathy]

  Vera was a curvaceous little Italian brunette who lived in west  
Austin. I think  she was a bit young for the ghetto days tho she may  
have dropped by when she was in high school.  Her early UT career was  
short lived, the '60s being more alluring- I met her in maybe 1968 or  
'69  through a different group of friends.  She was smart, saucy,   
energetic, adventurous, loyal, generous and had a husky laugh.  She  
was a great photographer and a good artist .
  You may have known  her mother, MaryJayne Bode, journalist and  
state representative, or her step dad, Winston Bode, who had   a TV  
show "Capitol Eye" for a long time.  Vera 's first marriage was to  
Lou Perryman, who some know..
