[AGL] social notes, added onto and mused over

Others in attendance--Frances Barton and Dick, Jim Berry, Don and Pat Laird, Thomas Pantin, the photographer, Leo Sullivan and Gary Smith, Bill Narum and SO Gloria, Diana Vickers, Madeleine Villatoro, Walter, Mary Jane and Bob, and my special guest, James Wagner.
Madeleine said that there are lots more people out walking in her Garden Street neighborhood, uncommon in the past. The yuppification of EA is in full swing. Lorelei mentioned that the taxes have doubled. Lots of condos going up starting at 200K.
Surprisingly in absentia were Kathy and Katfish. Absences as palpable as unavoidable, Clark and Sarah.
S'pose the Baron of Bastropia would contemplate an open house on his land over the so-called "Observed Memorial Day," May 28? (bring your own everything, of course.) Wouldn't it be hilarious if all the past ghetto-combatants were to show up for an Unbroken-Circle-Hippy-Hug? Jon, Ewie, Wayne G. Johnson, Gerry Storm, Michael Eisenstadt, Wali, and "list people" who have rarely or never appeared at a ghetto reonion since they began in 1998: Marilyn of West Texas, Carol of Folsom, Tina of AR, Ted Klein, Phil Waters, Henry Jackson and Clementina of CA. These people would be fun to see, and, of course, last but not least, Michele Mason for whom such a gathering would be rather convenient, right?
Where is Travis Rivers these days anyway?
Best,
Frances
