If you throw words around as if they have no fixed meaning, after a while 
they will have no meaning at all . Darfur is a holocaust-- yes. Iraq and 
Iran are a big mess, with violence from so many different factions. It is a 
civil war with terrorists from all over the middle east pitching in. The 
United States troops are killing plenty of people, including many innocent 
civilians. Since they can do this with impunity, you could call it a 
holocaust. The killing of  local Shia (the hazara people) in Afghanistan by 
the Talaban (especially when they were in power) could be called a 
holocaust. It seems at the very least to say something is a holocaust you 
have to have a group in power deliberately wiping out a subject group. With 
civil war and terrost-oriented anarchy of today's war, everybody is killing 
everybody else. This is madness, sheer chaos. As long as we remain in Iraq, 
we will be part of that chaos, contributing to the bloodshed. if we start 
wiping out certain groups deliberately in wholesale slaughter (Sunnis, for 
instance) , then we will  certainly be guilty of a holocaust.
