[AGL] off topic question - need transmission shop recommendation

Hans,
talked to the manager at B & M on S. Lamar. They
dont have the machine to swop out the ATF while
the engine runs. He gave a story about just dropping
the pan and replacing the 5 or so quarts in the sump.
He said the gasket is now rubber, not cork, and
reusable. Yeah, right!
Jiffy Lube and the dealer use the machine and run
the engine to do it. Jiffy Lube is $89, the dealer is
$179, but its hard not to get paranoid about having
Jiffy Lube do it.
have emailed to David Foster at ACC automotive
with whom i learnt (some) automotive. maybe he
can recommend another shop.
