[AGL] guilty pleasure movies.

I like to think that at our ages, we can have "guilty pleasure" movies
without having to call them that. We don't have to impress anyone any
more or look "cool" the way we used to. I still thoroughly enjoy Gone
With the Wind, even though there is so much in it that I cannot justify
as an "enlightened" person. My guilty pleasure movies tend to be sappy
and simplistic, but I love 'em anyway. (Such as "Amadeus," which I
happened to have the extreme pleasure of singing in, by sheer accident -
Saul Zaentz {sp?] needed a coloratura and a friend of mine from my choir
brought me to Berkeley where Saul's studio is. Besides singing in the
movie, I got to be with Saul on his birthday - the crew threw him a big
party!!!)

Yessiree to DD. I love the dancing, and the love scenes between Jennifer
Gray and Swayze brought back some fine memories of my younger, well you
know......

Maggie: YES on Secondhand Lions! How about Lawrence of Arabia
and dare I mention, without besmerching my spotless reputation, Dirty
Dancing (we were all Baby).
