Wait just a goldarned minute!
Yes, we had so-called "tourist courts" in G'town when I was a kid, but I
never, not for one moment, thought those thing were actually for use
by..........tourists!
I can't remember ever seeing anyone in G'town who looked like a tourist
except for this wierd guy who hung around the town square wearing a trench
coat during the late Forties. Everybody pretty much assumed that he was a
Russian Spy trying to get the Scoop on Nuklear stuff up at Fort Hood. About
as subtle as a locomotive at a tea party he was.
As for "tourists" they must have slipped in under the cover of darkness and
flown away with the breaking dawn.
I allas thought they wuz for "illicit cuddles" by the local merchants and
farmers.
Darn I was soooo stupid.
...and suspicious.....
wayne of old
