  This message is especially for the elderly among us. The location for this event is in The Community Room at my retirement home at 21 Waller St. I also invite the folks at Lakeview, the retirement center across the freeway on Cesar Chavez. Tommy Handcock lives there and he's a terrific dancer who goes several times a week to places like Jovita's and Donn's Depot, where I had the pleasure of dancing with him on occasion. For good exercise, he dances every dance, with a different partner, and stays fit. I highly recommend it so I'm trying to get a First Friday Dance Night re-established in memory of all those lovely years when I enjoyed attending First Friday--a tradition hosted monthly by Sam and Virginia Whitten. All come, even those in wheelchairs can enjoy the fun.
