[AGL] Fwd: Fw: Left Wing's Gun Plan (Elections)

Only way they'll get my .22 is over my cold body!

Actually, if this legislation were to pass (fat chance) it would give the
air gun industry a shot (NPI) in the arm. I have had an air rifle as part of
my kit for over 30 years. The modern ones are pretty amazing. Finally wore
mine out and am shopping for another. In the meantime the .22 carbine I
found here when I moved in takes its place. (A gift from God? Or the other
guy?)

I can tell you that life in the rural outback without a varmint gun can be
miserable, not a hobby, a necessity if you grow food and wish to appropriate
a small space for your exclusive use. God makes lots of rodents in a wide
variety of sizes and temperaments and they all like to live close to us
(safer from predators, sneaking a meal every time you are careless and leave
something they like unprotected). When you are awoken in the night by loud
noises it is quite comforting to know that the .22 is nearby.

Armed and not really dangerous in NM,
G
