Ann Richard's passing may mark the end of an era in Texas or National
politics. I never met her but always admired her wit and political acumen.
(Sans NAFTA). She will be missed and I am pretty sure she won't be replaced
with anyone of similar abilities in my lifetime. Afterall, suffrage (for
men and women) is pretty much a lost cause in the US these days.
