Harry,
I was thinking of the archives when I remembered Jaxon's posts
and that they would be in there somewhere. The archives are
archived by date but natchurly I dont remember the dates
when Jaxon wrote. I also thought of Karen who at the beginning
of time undertook to save all the posts to the list but surely not any
more, right Karen? If you Harry or anyone else can find them
in the archives (http://pairlist.net/pipermail/austin-ghetto-list),
please forward the info on the dates or the posts themselves.
Unfortunately I turned the archives on and off a few times
as well; this was in response to requests from subscribers
for "privacy."
If you read the elegies in the Chronicle (link to them
online at bottom of Harry's letter below), Margaret Moser's
makes reference to Jaxon and the Chronicle getting
crosswise. That Michael Ventura would object to
Jaxon using the term Negro accusing him of racism for
so doing is risible.<-my first time ever use of the word
Mike
