AUSTIN, Texas -- June 15, 2006 -- In the latest Rasmussen poll,  
independent gubernatorial candidate Kinky Friedman jumped five  
percentage points, surpassing independent candidate Carole Strayhorn  
and Democrat Chris Bell.
