        I never understood why people in Texas thought George was a Texan?  He was a bleeding carpetbagger and about as much as Texan, despite all the drugstore cowboy paraphrenalia, as a polar bear.

            Interesting map: as the dates change (lower left) so do the numbers (and colors) of each state.  It appears that as of May 2006, Bush’s performance receives the approval of a majority of people in only 3 states:  Utah, Idaho & Wyoming.  NOT Texas.
