One of the residents here at RBJ Tower was complaining to me that his co-pay for his Medicare Prescription plan is $23, which he declares is more than the cost of the prescription in countries that set ceilings on drug prices before alowing them in.
I asked if he thought it might be time for a revolution. He said "yes" without a moment's hesitation.
If deceiving shareholders is criminal, aren't the thousands-of-percentage point gaps in the salary remuneration of CEO's over the lowliest emplolyees on the payroll equally despicable? What arbiter could possibly judge this as justifiable?
