Bill,
It strikes me that the island is full of people who down deep know that at any moment their fate rests on any unpredictable weather event like a really big blow or perhaps a geodesic adjustment across the sea. With tsunami hanging over the heads of all islanders it is no surprise that they treasure every day of fine weather and embrace hedonism. I scored the elementary school written assessment tests a few years back and the population is not schooled to the same degree as are inlanders, it seemed. The Hawaiian students seemed closer to nature but less stimulated intellectually.
Nice shots, appreciate virtual tours.

I'm happy that you enjoyed the photos. From your brief comments you seem to have a lot misconcepts about Hawaii, you should come for a visit and straighten them out. Contrary to popular thinking there are no grass skirts in Hula, there are coconut shell bras but not this year. The coconut shell bra seems like a good idea - hard hats for the breasts! The other points; Hawaii is not all tourism nor is it all paradisiacal.
Aloha

Fab tour Ewie, thank you very much. All the photos came across. It was interesting that none of the dancers were shown with hip hugging grass skirts and coconut covered breasts.
Hawaii is to me on the one hand completely unappealing (honeymoooners, hotels etc), and on the other hand paradaisical.
Connie
