Let us not forget that the Zoroasters (as I recall) were around much before
Moses left Egypt for more managable turf. I think.....it was they who came
up with the idea of Angels or a "host" of supernatural/ethereal critters
flapping around whatever it was they populated their version of "heaven"
with.
