Sharon and his table manners are ancient history now. If you read the 
Israeli newspapers online (Jerusalem Post and Ha'aretz), you will notice 
that because of the random death visited upon them for so long, the Israelis 
have adopted the attitude of cleaning up the mess as fast as possible and 
moving on. "To life" is their toast. There has beens absolutely no mention 
of Sharon on his death bed, nothing about his coma in the newspapers. 
Compare and contrast to "normal" societies where the deaths of celebrities 
are scrutinized unto the tiniest details. Consider the fuss made over the 
pope when he recently shuffled off his mortal coil. Or Princess Diane. Or 
you name him/her.
