Charles,
Damn, check that man's warranty, I'd expect a 70 year guarantee, minimum!
I liked Clark. What's with this. I'd no idea he wasn't well. I heard he'd
bought a boat and was taking people out full of life with a fist full of
bock. I didn't think the reaper was so stealthy, did anyone see this
coming? When is this event, today, or a week from today. My love to all.
I just got back from visiting Joe Rowe and Gilbert Shelton, I guess I'll
have to swing by the big sky before every one lifts off.
Love, Travis

Travis Rivers once wrote letters like this as a subscriber to our maillist.
He lives in California and "the big sky" means Texas which he apparently
means to visit, maybe even as soon as Saturday. He is a giant from 60's
Austin and I can only hope that he will stride among us at the memorial
and wake. And Ed Guinn, another giant from 60's Austin, may also show.
