Subject: Re: DREADING THE STORM
With a 35 foot storm tide coming in 52 miles it would still be 14 foot
below my front door. I just got a recorded call from Carol Alveraze, my
council woman, stating I should leave because I'm in a flood plain.
This is all political posturing and communication practice for the
coming Apocalypse which Homeland Security has been told to expect by W
and the Christian Right wing.
I am scared shitless of flying, out of gas, cars and vans left on the
freeway and the hyped up, mad looters who abandoned them combing
through my mansion. My shot gun is ready and my new water wings from
Oshmans warehouse store are close, I bought three pair to handle my
size and they are good for grand kids birthday presents if unused.
FEMA should have painted the freeways red, laid out gas cans, and had
the evacuations at night to use less gas running the air conditioners.
Maybe I'll run for office if Loving will run the campaign. And thanks
for the advice Roger, I've decided to be more courteous if I'm going to
consider politics.

If I were you Clark, I would think about getting your guest to help
you move your good stuff up to the second floor. I fear flooding the
most.
One of my biggest mistakes has been to be a junk collector and not to
have realized earlier that the best way to save stuff is to put it in
those $8 big 66 quart sealed plastic containers from Target and stack
them high. If there is a foot of water or even more, your papers and
best stuff remain safe. -- Roger
