I don't think Ann had any previous involvement with Atheist Movement. She has probably been spending quite a bit of time with them doing research for several years on MM for this book, and got to be friendly or something. Her previous book was about Swaggert as you probably know. I really couldn't understand why she would want to spend so much time learning so much about Jimmy Swaggert (creepy guy)- but the book is very good.
So, you don't have a copy of the new book to read now? The flyer says they will be on the shelves April 23rd, so I can get one here then - but not signed.
I knew Ann in the 60s and 70s. Her second marriage was to Steve's best friend in high school, Gary Seaman, who I had know for a while. We liked to visit the Wupperman's farm out north off 183 where they lived. Cows were milked, vegetables grown, bunnies and kids played. Gary got a job in a university in LA - and they moved away. I think Benny still lives out there.
Thanks to Karen for expressing kind thoughts from me. Sounds like there was a good turn-out last night.

No I didn't. They are out of her books anyway. More on the
way she said.
Karen told Anne after I introduced them that you were sorry
not to be there.
You knew Anne pretty well. What was her involvement
with the American Atheists way back that would have got
her invited to the burial of the bodies?

did you see Joe Ben? I asked him to go over there and get a book for me.
Wish I could have been there last night.
