Featherfest

In anticipation of repeating the reward of our past birdwatching experiences during Spring migration, we had planned to get up early Sat or Sun and drive the 1 hour down to Galveston Island and vicinity to view the best that the sport has to offer.
 
I've spotted so many Spring plumed birds on one tree down there, it looked like it was decorated for Christmas.
 
Alas, the area Chambers have discovered the big payoff, and now has a Galveston Featherfest, and we will likely experience traffic snarls in some of our favorite places.
