Get Kinky in 2006 - some clarifications please?

Connie, as I understand it, the petition cannot even be circulated
until after the primaries of 2006. The deadline is sometime in May, so
that only gives Kinky a relative few weeks to collect his signatures.
You are not eligible to sign if you voted in either primary. And we
wonder why we never hear of any Texas independents on the November
ballots.
As for the others, it seems certain that Rick the prick and Kay Bailey
will run on one side (aargh); on the other there has been mention of
the likelihood of Tony Sanchez and John Sharpe (gag to both) running.
As Kinky sez, the choice is between paper and plastic.
