Opps,
Pepi keeps us tuned to Flint Hill, Henry jumps in with an occasional tidbit, Harry and Eugene comment from time to time, Marilyn and buzz come in from West Texas occasionally, Karen, where are you these days, Dian, anything new? Where, and who, are the rest of the 56 or 57 varieties?

Retiring minds want to know,
Frances

BTW I sometimes have trouble posting replies. This is a test, if you get it twice, there is no problema at this end.

Jeeze,
With age mates Hunter Thompson and Sandra Dee dropping like flies are any of us lulled into a dubious complacency with fingers crossed that we're immortal? After all, it was John Beluchi who gave the imaginary tour of the SNL tombstones, only to be the first to go. Ah, conflict, more interesting than felicity.

Roger's posts have broadened in quality, adding natural history and obit notices to his chicken-little alarm at our running out, or peaking, world oil supply, Gerry's have lengthened and become more literarily rhapsodic, Jon's finally introduced us to his SO, Connie's keep us up to speed on going in for spare parts and the real value of JB and Roz's wild house guest, Smitty invites us to look forward to his celebration of the wife's retirement, Fontaine locates the quintessential cedar waxwing photo, Michaele passes on his eye surgery research, Jim demythologizes the prevarities of computers and the ways to use them, Judy tunes us into the left coast, telebob fuels our mythological belief in the phantasmagoric possibility that income of the net flows any way but back to it's inventors. Dream on.
May we all get to stay tuned, despite it all, into our nineties.

Best,
Frances

Huh? Now I'm being acttacked by Roger for resenting Gerry's insults (he's the one who called me a mean skunk in a pissing match and now a "fraud," and he admits he's too cowardly to read my posts. If Gerry were polite to me, maybe I'd be more sympathetic to the fact that his house on a dry creek bed got rained out. Head for higher ground, nature boy!
