JFK, SpeedHead

Also possible that Jack didn't really know what planet he was on. I was most
unnerved and dismayed when reading a bio on Jackie to hear that the sinister
Dr. Jacobson was shooting them both up with amphetamines on a very regular
basis, from 1960 onward ('good for my back').
Somebody tried to warn JFK about the horrific effects of speed but he just
replied "I don't care. If it makes me feel this good that's enough for me."
Can we say 'Cuban Missile Crisis', or 'Bay of Pigs' or 'Vietnam'?
